True to Luxman tradition, DA-250 is loaded with high-tech parts and premium components. A PCMI1795 DAC chip boasts a 32-bit digital filter and upconverts audio to 32-bit/384kHz. Independently mounted low-phase noise-clock modules reduce noise and produce hyper-accurate, super-low jitter signals. The analog analog circuitry is equally impressive and features both fixed and variable output. Luxman's proprietary LECUA volume control operates fully in the analog domain and results in stellar S/N ratio, vanishingly low distortion, imperceptible change in frequency response at any listening level, and minimal tracking errors. A discrete buffer on the headphone output translates into powerful drive capacity, while an independent buffer on each output eliminates any changes in sound quality when the outputs are simultaneously used. An analog input that permits the hook-up of phonostages, LED display, compact remote, and high-grade connectors round out a three-in-one marvel that lives up to Luxman's stringent standards – and more.
