If your looking for Power and Performance, PS Audio's GCC-250 (Up Graded by Cullen Circuits) may be the perfect choice for you.

The GCC-250 amp turns out a robust 250 watts continuous per channel into eight ohms and can double its output at four ohms to 500 watts continuous per channel. That's enough power to drive virtually any speaker with ease.

Gain Cell Technology: The GCC-250 is equipped with two Gain Cells instead of the old-fashioned potentiometers that normally control the volume. Traditional volume and balance controls attenuate the signal, which can cause degradation of the signal. Gain Cells provide complete control over the gain of the incoming audio signals, and are capable of 130dB of variable gain with little or no noise and distortion. Since there are no attenuators in the unit, the GCC-250 provides the shortest, cleanest audio path available.

The GCC-250 has a damping factor exceeding 1000, increasing the control over your loudspeaker.

There are 5 inputs including 1 balanced line. You can adjust the gain and edit the name of each of the five inputs.

I up graded the Gain Cells and fuses in 2008. Rick Cullen from Cullen Circuits made the upgrade. The Cullen upgrade really opened up the midrange and highs while remaining smooth and natural. The bass is tight, detailed and powerful. The upgrade really transformed this amp.
