Spica TC50 package w/ extra matched drivers & extreme upgrades - Special Offering

Very special offering so please read the details below.  If you appreciate the sound of the famous Spica TC50 and can appreciate what they are capable of, then this package will be of interest to you. 
A pair of TC50s upgraded to the extreme. These were used in my second system which must be dismantled and sold so the room can be used for another purpose.  They come with 4 extra tweeters and 4 extra matching woofers so the owner will enjoy these speakers for another 100 years :) All drivers work as they should with one of the extra 4 woofers needing a tiny bit of cosmetic work.  I will also  include a set of TC 50 cabinets with original crossovers.   This second set of TC50 cabinets need some work with some corners needing repair etc...
Here are the details of the upgrades: 
- Completely rebuilt crossovers placed externally with exceptional parts quality. Top of the line copper foil, paper and wax Jantzen inductors of the same value and resistance of the originals.  I special ordered these for this project.  These are very expensive and sound great.  The crossover boards can be stacked and placed centrally or separated and placed next to the speaker.  
- Mills MRA resistors, Clarity CSA, Jantzen Superior Z and Jantzen Standard Z capacitors. All values matched to actual original crossover values. Great care was taken to keep the original design of the crossover in tact with much higher quality parts. 
- Duelund stranded and tinned copper wire in cotton used throughout the crossover when not part to part soldered. 
- Duelund stranded and tinned copper wire in cotton 16 gauge speaker cables from speakers to amp.  6 foot set.  
- Cardas pure copper binding posts. Biwire set. 
- Duelund 16 gauge stranded and tinned copper wire in cotton used inside the speakers. 
- The cabinet was damped with Cascade Audio Quiet Kote VB-1S Pro.
- Original wool dampening material. 
- Woofer baskets damped with Plasti Clay - heavy coating.
- Additional bracing on rear of cabinet. 
- Western Electric 10 gauge & Duelund 16 gauge stranded and tinned copper in cloth biwire speaker cable harness. 7 foot set from speakers to crossover. 
They sound absolutely fantastic with spooky imaging and a clarity of sound that is uncanny.  The highs are extended and sweet while the mids are intimate and present. Bass is surprising and much better than stock with my upgrades.  I like using them with a well matched sub and have one I can sell the buyer for only $200.   Triangle Tales 340. Costs $600 new.  Will also sell the Pangea stands for $90.

- One set of highly and professionally upgraded TC50 speakers with outboard crossovers
- 4 extra tweeters   - 4 extra matching woofers 
- two original crossover sets
- extra set of empty cabinets
- Duelund/Western Electric  crossover wire harness 7 foot biwire set from speakers to crossover.
- Duelund 16 gauge speaker cables from crossover to amp. 6 foot set.   

I will not ship all of this for obvious reasons.  I live in the Nashville, TN area and local pick up is preferred.  I performed all of this work.  I build and sell audio cables on Audiogon as well as perform mods and upgrades on electronics and speakers for customers.   
 This is a great deal for the Spica enthusiast.  You will not hear a better sounding set of TC50 speakers.  These were upgraded with care and attention to the details.  They perfectly reflect the intention and design of the builder.  If not interested in the extra parts, then I am willing to sell just the upgraded speakers for an agreed on  price.
