Aragon 8008 BB power amplifier - Updated: Original owner, received from Mondial Designs in April 1995...as replacement for Aragon 4004 that was severely damaged when shipped after factory repairs. Note that below in my answer to the question I stated replaced 8008, that was not correct.

I am interested in this amplifier. Are you accepting offers? Agreed, it will be in the same box used by Mondial when they sent it to me.
Up until yesterday I was accepting offers when I had it listed at $1,300 but last evening I reduced the price to $1,000 and removed the Accept Offers option but added in the option for more than local buyers to purchase. |
| A couple of questions, up above you say local pickup only but in your last paragraph you say Prefer local pickup. Which is correct? Also what is the ownership history and how old is the unit. Thanks. Great questions and interestingly the answer(s) are related. I am the original owner and I got it straight from Mondial as a ‘free’ upgrade to my original 8008 that had been serviced that UPS dropped and pretty much destroyed...hence my hesitation to ship. That was right about the time the 8008 BB came out so that would have been 1995/96 timeframe for age. I can change to do shipping but don’t know the costs since I wasn’t necessarily planning on that option, shipping costs including insurance would be paid by the buyer. |
