These are some of the best amps I have ever had in my system and I have had more than my share of high end amplifiers. Selling due to move and scaling down to integrated amplifiers. This pair was purchased by me from an expert builder and used intermittently in my main system. They are excellent both cosmetically and functionally. Hypex Mono Amplifier – one pair

Hypex is an innovative Dutch company that makes one of the world’s best amplifier modules. They are sold to large companies for OEM use and to the DIY community. Many of the OEM products are used in amplifiers that are well into “high end mega buck” territory.

The Hypex NC400 is a unique product that takes the amp out of the equation. Hypex claims the amps add neither dirt nor fairy dust. Nothing is added and nothing is taken away from the soul of the original recording. They are cool running amps with great power output that is the equivalent of “straight wire with gain” that many audio companies strive for, but are unable to obtain. Imagine the best of both worlds – the midrange of a tube amplifier and the bottom end of a great transistor amp and you have what Hypex has achieved.
