They come with the speaker stands seen in the pictures.

These are active speakers, no amp needed. There are actually 6 amps built-in per speaker. Each driver has its own amp. You feed digital audio directly from a transport to one of the speakers.
You can feed analog too from a pre-amp with volume control.
