Backert Labs Rhythm 1.1

This is the Backert Labs Rhythm 1.1, their flagship.
It sounds big and wonderful.  Fast, dynamic... in the words of Scot Hull writing at PartTime Audiophile, "The long and the short of it is that the Rhythm 1.1 is completely quiet, highly resolving, explosively dynamic, and sounds freakin’ amazing. I suppose you could say that I’m a fan."

It has:  - remote volume control  - two 12au7 tubes  - balance control  - mute switch  - stereo/mono switch  - 5 RCA inputs   - 2 RCA outputs  - REC OUT pair of RCA jacks if you want to record to a CD or send to headphone amp   

It features:

1. Point-to-point wiring throughout

2. Automatic tube bias.  Continuous, accurate biasing of both tubes means any 12au7 tube you throw in there is going to sound its best, and any pair you settle on will last longer as their changing bias needs will be taken care of toward the end of life. This is the only brand that offers this.

3. Handy tube door that gives you instant access to the tubes

4. The famous TKD volume control, one of the best in the world (see photo)

5. Patented power supply which is the only one in the world that allows a stereo component to be powered with Teflon capacitors. The Rhythm 1.1 uses V-Caps teflon caps for the power supply (see photos). This gives the Rhythm its punch, accuracy, dynamics... there is no other power supply like it anywhere.
