Linn Klimax Renew DS Music Streamer

Excellent condition and rarely used Linn Klimax DS Renew with Dynamic Power Supply. Great player. If you know about these you know how wonderful they are. Basically it's the Klimax DS in a basic Linn box. Performs perfectly. Great for Tidal and any streaming service or preference.  The below data is from Linn's website. What you see is what you get. No cosmetic or performance issues. Factory warranty ended last year. Unit works with the Linn Konfig and Kazoo Apps.

1. What is Linn Klimax Renew DS?
    
   Linn Klimax Renew DS is a first generation Linn Klimax DS with Dynamik power supply (upgrade from the original power supply), all fitted into a small black box by Linn with a 5 year warranty.
    
   How to Get One?
    
   This player is available only to existing Linn Klimax DS owners who are upgrading their original $20K Linn Klimax DS to the Klimax DS MKII. As part of the upgrading process, Linn replaces the electronics from the original Klimax DS with upgraded electronics. The original Klimax DS electronics is put into a new case along with the Dynamik power supply (an upgrade from the power supply in the orignal Klimax DS), again performed by Linn.
    
   
2. MAINS INPUT - To connect to the mains electricity supply.
3. POWER SWITCH- For switching the power to the unit on and off
4. ETHERNET - To connect to a network (100Base-T)
5. RS232 PORTS - For connection to Linn source products without ethernet ports. Please note: Early versions on the Renew DS has RS232 port 1 & 2 labels swopped around. If you have any difficulty, please test this connection using the Konfig-Diagnostics
6. FALLBACK - To put the device into Fallback mode (used when reprogramming)
7. EARTH GROUND - For connecting the unit to an earthing terminal if no mains earth is available or for joining the earths of other products in the system to improve perfromance in areas of poor/noisy electrical earth conditions.
8. UNBALANCED OUT RIGHT, LEFT - To connect to a preamplifier (or power amplifier when internal volume control is enabled) with unbalanced (RCA) analogue inputs.
9. BALANCED OUT RIGHT, LEFT - To connect to a preamplifier (or power amplifier when internal volume control is enabled) with balanced (XLR) analogue inputs.
