Beautiful maple platform from Mapleshade. Used this 18"x15"x2" Ambrosia maple with clear satin lacquer for highly effective vibration control of my preamp. One side has a few marks and scuffs in the lacquer from the interaction with the Isoblock 1's. The other side was used to support my preamp with brass Mapleshade Heavyfeet (not included) and has a few tiny indentations where the points were resting on the platform. I would guess these imperfections would be covered by whatever you place on the platform, and are otherwise not very noticeable from a few feet away.
