WhatsBestForum.com member Dean Morgan purchased these amplifiers brand new from Galen Carol Audio on 9/21/18. Dean put only a few hundred hours on them. There are no scratches or blemishes on them.
JC1s have been Stereophile Class A
rated amps for several years. Over the years the John Curl-designed JC-1 has garnered more honors than any other amplifier. See www.parasound.com/jc1.php for reviews.
The serial numbers on the boxes
are #95 and #99. On the bottom of the amps the serial numbers are #04175 and #04186.
David Wilson of Wilson Audio used JC1s to drive Wilson Audio Thor subwoofers and then Master Subsonic subwoofers. I purchased these amps from Dean in anticipation of someday using them for this very Wilson Audio subwoofer purpose, but I will not be going in that direction after all.
The amps have remained completely safe in the original boxes since I received them from Dean.
