McCormack Micro Line Drive (MLD)

I’m the original owner of this sexy little preamp. I purchased it to pair with my McCormack DNA 0.5 and a pair of MartinLogan speakers. It is a very neutral and transparent preamp, and will reveal what the source sends through it. It has both Active & Passive outputs. As a passive-preamp, the MLD just disappears and can hold its’ own with the best of them.  The active side is also quite good and allows it to partner with amps of various input & gain sensitivity or for with use with long or highly capacitive interconnects to the amplifier.

During the mid-2000s, a job change put me in an apartment that didn’t allow good placement of the MartinLogans, so the system was bagged & boxed and placed in climate controlled storage for 10-11yrs (Wow!). Since that time, I’ve become involved in another hobby/passion that is very time consuming. Consequently, I’m not listening as I’d like and don’t want good equipment to go to waste. So, I’m letting go of my system and will likely revisit things at a later date. I take very good care of my equipment and it is in very good to like new condition and with less time on the unit than one would suspect. It still functions properly and sounds fantastic! Really hate to let go of this one, as they don’t come up for sale often and it’s so cool.
