Price is for a pair of Classe CA-M400 - this is the powerhouse Canadian amplifier compared to Krell, Halcro and Mark Levinson.  It is beautifully finished, with a silver front plate, and is often praised in the review literature.   I paired this with Wilson Maxx 2's - and the sound was always seamless, grain free, and effortless.  You may not think you need the power, but when you have it you realize that it is never the constraint on the system.  I am a long time audiophile and take excellent care of my equipment.
