Tungsram ECC83/12AX7

Offered here for sale is a matched pair of Tungsram ECC83 also known as 12AX7 tubes. These tubes were purchased NOS from Upscale Audio. They are rated as Kevin's PLATINUM grade. These are some of the best of the best.

Kevin says that when he thinks of this tube, he thinks of turning up the color much in the same way the classic Mullards do... smooth, maintains top end, excellent bass. The midrange especially is fabulous he notes.

They were installed in a phono stage that was very seldomly used so these tubes have low hours on them and are known to last in excess of 5,000 hours. One of the tubes has some of the decal rubbed off of the glass. The other is fully present.

These tubes are quite rare and are sold NOS for $155 per tube. I am offering both tubes, the pair for $175.
