Paired by hand to guarantee consistently narrow tolerances, Sennheiser's enhanced transducers result in improved control of the diaphragm movements via a specially manufactured stainless-steel fabric adapted to the contour of the diaphragm. Extremely light aluminum voice coils ensure stellar impulse fidelity.

Featuring strong albeit lightweight open construction, HD 660 S is equipped with elliptical ear cups that follow the anatomy of the human ear. Thick padding on the headband and replaceable ear cushions further the comfort factor. Visually, the matte black and anthracite appearance conveys timeless elegance and contemporary style without compromise, just like the sonic properties of HD 660 S. These ‘phones also come with multiple cables for various applications. Each is comprised of highly conductive OFC copper, featuring very low handling noise and sturdy para-aramid reinforcement.
