I am the original owner of the Anthem Statement P2 two-channel multi-mono amplifier with 325 watts continuous power per channel at 8 ohms. This amp can beautifully and naturally render music with all of its subtleties, and also provide room shaking solid movie effects with ease and power reserves to spare.
Features include multi-mono design, massive toroidal transformers, independent power supplies, 14 bipolar output devices per channel (for remarkable reserve power), hand designed military spec circuit boards, no-fuse design, and oversized gold plated binding posts. These amps are built like tanks and are reliable. If anything does go wrong, it’s usually the power relays, which I just had replaced by the factory, so it’s good to go for many many years.
This amp is beautifully designed and built, and sounds incredible. I hate to part with it but I am downsizing my living space. New P2s sell for $4499.

How old is the amp?
Thank you. Hi, thanks for your interest. The amplifier was built in 2005, and I bought it new in 2006. It was part of my home theater system which included the AVM30, Anthem A5, and Paradyme Reference speakers. It has seen fairly light use, mostly on weekends. Thanks.
