Balanced Audio Technology VK51-SE (** Reduced **)

Included in the sale of this Balanced Audio Technology (BAT) VK51SE Preamplifier is a set of brand new 6H30 tubes (8) that I paid roughly $500 for. These are the highest rated tubes from Upscale Audio in California. Unit is in very good condition and rated a (7-8) for age. There is a small mark on the top front right of the unit which is basically unnoticeable if you don’t shine a light on it and has a slight smudge on the top right of the unit case. (See pictures for locations) This unit was upgraded from a VK50SE to the VK51SE around 7/2005. It has worked perfectly since then.  This unit was used rarely since the upgrade to now.  Recently I’m back into the audio black hole which is why I’m now selling this unit and have purchased the latest BAT products. The remote control unit is brand new. I never used it.  Note:  There is a small “pop” sound (according to BAT) when switching Inputs. When I called BAT, they informed me that this is expected as the unit ages and will occur to all units.  Eventually, the Output Caps will need to be replaced, so I am lowering the asking price a little bit. Unit has been in a smoke and pet free environment in Southern California.  I am the original owner of this unit.
