VAC Renaissance 30-30 Mk II tube amp purchased on Audiogon April 2011.Upgraded to Mk III-S in June 2011 by VAC. 300Bs were purchased from VAC at that time and used moderately over the years but most likely might need to be replaced at some point in future. Also am including the original quartet of Electro Harmonix 300Bs that came with amp when I purchased. I never used these as I had the VAC replacement tubes from upgrade. I was told these were “new” when I bought amp but never had tested. Have original owner’s manual, box, shipping crate and power cord. Rated 7 of 10 because amp shows some wear as seen in photos and age. Performs flawlessly and sounds incredible!
Reason I am selling the amp, that I was going to keep forever, is because I just upgraded to a VAC Renaissance 70/70 Mk II. Kevin Hayes said to me, 9 years ago, when I called to ask about an upgrade to the 30/30 “Welcome to the Family!” How right he was! As I have learned over the years, once you join the VAC family, you never leave you only upgrade!
