Being sold as a repair project piece. This is a fabulous sounding unit that I purchased new in Oct 2007 for $3000. It has been loving used but never abused in a non smoking home. But it has developed a major flaw -- the unit will not load a CD. It will take the CD in and then immediately expel it. I can't get it to consistently load CDs. Once in a while it does, and it plays them without issues, and ejects fine. But normally it will not accept a CD.
So this is a REPAIR piece, a project for someone, or a unit to be scavenged for parts. My local person wanted $100 just to look inside, and I said "that sounds like a good AudioGon price".
Again, this is a project piece. I just can't stand the thought of throwing this beautiful unit in the recycling bin. Hopefully someone will want it. I have the box, manual, and remote. Feel free to ask any questions.

Here's what happened. I listed this at midnight and went to bed. Checked things out the next morning and already had multiple offers over asking price. Now I don't know how to fairly handle this. So I'm asking AudioGon what I can do that's fair to everyone. Stay tuned... |
