This is perhaps the finest solid state preamp available. Unfortunately I cannot use it with my Legacy Valor system and thus I must part with it. I purchased it from the Music Room in August of 2019 and it has been well taken care of and performed flawlessly.
Price of sale includes remote, umbilicals, AC cable and manual. FREE SHIPPING to US lower 48 also included.

| My friend in Seattle has the Valors also he is really unhappy with the built in D class amps and he tells me it is impossible to get it to sound right, when he got them Bill flew in an set them up after he left he changed everything because he said they sounded awlful.I thought the AERIS were beautiful i only used the crossover on the bass crossover and used my Rex pre-amp. Have you tried to adjust the room acoustics with the Wavelet? What a nightmare I just want to play music not mess around with settings. Best of luck sell those speakers keep your Pass !!!! No Bill did the adjustments for Wavelet and I haven't touched it since. This is a complex system, and as such a full understanding is needed before changing anything.
I agree that Class D has a long way to go; I hope they get it right some day.

| How could you compare this fantastic pre-amp to the Legacy, I just sold the Aeris with the Wavelet processor which I thought was horrible, I have the Bat Rex PRE-AMP ,why would anyone pick a processor over a $20000.00 tube pre-amp? I liked the speakers but the processor is a joke, I sold them and bought the Focal Maestro's with the Pass Labs XA-160.5'S major upgrade.Keep your pre-amp and sell your speakers. IMO the XS Preamp is livelier, more emotionally engaging and harmonically rich than the Wavelet. Unfortunately it only has 3 sets of stereo outputs and I need 4 sets to drive the VALOR system
I had the Aeris as well and was using the XS pre in that system and was a major improvement over the Wavelet. Had I known the XS couldn't be used with the VALOR I might not have ordered them.
This being said, the VALOR is an exceptional system and significantly better than the Aeris, which was a great speaker in its own right.
Finally, given the lack of serious offers on this piece I may delist and wait for an opportunity to use it down the road.
