Pure Class A Sugden A21 Signature Integrated

Pure Class A Integrated amp with Phono stage from a respected British amplifier manufacturer. Still well under warranty - buyer can register at website (will include details). Note this is the latest from the original class A21 lineage (this is not the newer A21 Signature SE which I’m told has a different sonic profile). I bought this amp because I like tubes and prefer warmth. Well this amp exceeded my expectations because it’s warm without being syrupy or sludgy. Great tonal accuracy too - voices, strings, horns, pianos you name it. And oh - it packs a wallop! Was a bit apprehensive about the 23W/Ch spec but boy was I surprised! Drove my focal 8 Ohm and spatial 4 Ohm OB speakers with aplomb (admittedly both 90+ sensitivity). Never had to go past 9:30am on the dial. It actually likes being driven!  Last but not least - great build quality and it looks gorgeous!

One other thing buyer should know - like any Class A amp, it gets hot. I knew that going in and so should you. It does need room to breathe. You shouldn’t  stack anything over this. That’s full disclosure for you. Other than that, it’s as good as new and properly broken in for the next owner.

So why am selling it? I’ve had the amp for a month if that. Frankly it was a bit of an impulsive purchase considering I have 4 other amps. I have no space for this! The wife is understandably a bit peeved about the space and expense. I was indeed being greedy...😄 So, yes I do want to sell it but would I be heartbroken if I didn’t?...uh, no. It’s that good. So please - serious buyers only and no negotiations.  It’s a fair price for a high quality PURE class A “as good as new amp”. 😊
