This amp is less than 1 month old. It was new from the manufacturer in Canada. The only thing POSSIBLY wrong is that there is a slight AC ground loop hum in the left channel.  It is only audible when the headphones are plugged in or if you put your ear next to the speaker.  It may not be a problem at all in your home.  I am looking for a NYC based, hopefully young, knowledgeable audiophile, if you are a Cornell graduate, all the better.  This is a PICK UP ONLY IN NYC. That is correct, no shipping.  I am looking for a new home for the amp.  The $1 is correct.  If you want to pay me for the ad, that would be more than generous.  I want someone who knows about tube amps and would like this amp for themselves or a friend.  In addition to the amp, included will be 2 resistors for when you are listening through the headphones.  This does not have a "speaker/headphone" switch.  If you notice from the pictures there is one Mullard EL-34 in the amp.  The original tube (which could be bad) will also be included (the other Mullard is bad).  This is the MK.III if the picture is a little fuzzy.  Yes it is $1799 new, so this is a "present" to some NYC audiophile.  Please read my feedback so that you are absolutely sure you are not dealing with someone playing games here.  I had a MK.II that I enjoyed for a number of years until it died (due to using it mainly as a headphone amp before the need for the resistors was discovered).  You can ask any questions, except will I ship it.  It is offers only because again, I am looking for a new home for the amp, to the proper new owner.  I am not looking for higher bids. Thanks for viewing this ad, Roy (retired from the Met)
