The Aragon 4004 MK II by Mondial Designs is a classic. When released, it received great reviews in the major magazines in both the USA and Europe. It was known as “the poor man’s Krell”. This unit is in great shape and is available for pick up only.
200 W/Ch @ 8 ohms with both channels driven continuously.
400 W/Ch @ 4 ohms with both channels driven continuously.
Dual mono design in one chassis including two massive toroidal transformers for individually powering each channel. Stable into 2 ohms and conservatively rated.
Single owner, never been serviced, not an upgraded unit & from a smoke free environment.
This amp was used with ProAc Tablette bookshelf speakers, so it never broke a sweat. This amp is available due to downsizing.
This amp has been tested, and it sounds great.
