As JL Audio's flagship subwoofer, the g213 has
all the comings of one. It is massive - 21.5" wide, 24" deep and 34
1/8" tall and weighs a back breaking 360 lbs! The front of the sub houses
its twin 13.5" woofers and internally, its 3,800W amp that provides the
power to drive those two drivers. Controls are found on the top of the sub and
is quite intuitive. Setting it up to its optimum sound is a breeze as you use
your ears and adjust the controls to find the sweet spot in your room. The V2
version that replaced this cost 30% more at $16,500 but packs a 4,500W amp.
Which is only advantageous when we have a massive home theater room. Otherwise,
the g213 you see here will do a fantastic job in any setting and room size. To
us, this is the BEST home consumer subwoofer ever. And at $6,500 now, a real
bargain over its V2 version.
The sub is in great shape with minor scuff marks
from use. Its one owner owned from NEW and we have the original box for it.
