Perfect operation preamplifier. I am downsizing my second system so all my Emotive has to go. This is a fully balanced stereo preamp. Fully differential means that the preamp literally has a separate analogue circuit for the positive and negative connections from the balanced XLR inputs to the XLR outputs. | Hello there! How old is this unit and are both rca and xlr connections active for running two power amps in stereo?
Wayne tks Hello, I think I bought the unit from Emotiva in 2017. As for the units outputs, I have used both balance and single-ended RCA's. I don't know if you can run them at the same time, that would be a question for Emotiva. But, if I was going to do that, I would have Audioquest make me a 2-1 balanced RCA so I knew the amps were getting the same signal with no timing jitter. |
