Beautiful sounding OTL tube amplifier. No output transformer, 15 wpc in 8 ohms, 8 wpc in 4 ohms.This amplifier has been stored in my home (temp and humidity controlled) for the last 10 years. It's dead quiet and provides a wonderful soundstage. The highs shimmer, lows spank and midrange is captivating. The amp looks beautiful in the dark with all the tubes glowing. I did add a stainless steel cover over the torrids (see pics) which can easily be removed if you prefer the look. Also included is a tube cage which was an option. Included are 19 NOS spare 6C19PI tubes still in original cartons. I've just pulled it out along with a Grounded Grid pre amp and using Dayton Audio CBT24 speakers and have to ask myself why I would want to sell the amp sounds fantastic but it's time someone else enjoyed it.

| Hi, I have a Magie 4 ohm 100w speaker, will this be able to drive that speaker? Thank you. Hello, I'm using 4 ohm speakers myself and pulled the amp and matching preamp out and the music hasn't sounded this good for a long time. I think is would be a great match for your speakers. I suspect I underrated the condition of the amp as it's somewhere between good and very good. Hope this helps and if you have other questions please let me know. The matching Grounded Grid preamp with lots of mods is also available. |
