Horning Pericles DX2 Loudspeakers - Cherry Trade-ins!

Rarely available on the secondary market, we have a wonderful pair of Horning loudspeakers available for purchase. This model is the Pericles DX, originally available in the mid to late "2000’s". This particular pair are a well cared for, single owner pair that came back to us as a trade-in and are rated 7/10 primarily for age.

These Pericles are in great condition with a couple of small blemishes on the rear of one speaker and are finished in a beautiful natural cherry finish. They have also been fitted with solid brass "Loyd Walker" feet/spikes, further enhancing the inherent Horning performance. While an older pair of speakers, they remain absolutely amazing sounding and given the years of new audio product "runaway inflation", are a steal at our asking price.

The Pericles incorporate a Horning Lotus tweeter and Lowther DX2 midrange driver, complimented by two 12 inch rear firing Beyma bass drivers and adjustable bass port. The Pericles can be easily tuned for room placement and sound wonderful whether close or far from rear/side walls. (A feat not easily accomplished by most current speakers.)
 
Further, the Pericles are tremendously efficient and can be easily driven with low powered SET amps among many other amplifiers. The Pericles can be driven easily with just a few watts, due to their 8 ohm impedance and 96dB sensitivity.
