Linn Akurate 221 Subwoofer - Rosewood

Downsizing and selling off gear. This is a Linn Akurate 221 subwoofer (or "bass extension" in Linn-speak). This is not an earth-shaking subwoofer, but it is incredibly musical, tight and accurate -- largely due to the solid build quality and powerful, high quality Linn amp. The amp is rated by Linn at 500 watts RMS and 1000 watts peak power. The sub contains numerous wiring options and 7 different adjustable parameters (see manual for more info: https://docs.linn.co.uk/wiki/images/2/28/Linn_Akurate_212_Owners_Manual.pdf) 

I had it paired with my Linn Katan monitors (also for sale). I can throw in a basic power cord if you want, but I recommend a higher quality cord. I am selling the 10' VooDoo X-Ray power cord that I used with this by separate listing. I can throw in a very long RCA cable if you want. I thought it was a Linn cable, but it is unmarked, so my memory may be incorrect. I can also include an Auralex Subdude base that I used under this -- recommended for wood floors. The Subdude is free - but you pay for the extra box and shipping. 

This sub retailed for $3,750 when new. There are a few very minor scuffs from being on the floor, but it looks better in person than in the photos, I think. A bargain at this price.
