I read somewhere these were at one time Matthew Polk's favorite Polk Audio speaker. They are old but sound great. Only selling to make room for a pair of Polk's L600 speakers arriving soon and I have nowhere to store them.
These have been modified with help from the members of the Polk Audio forum. Crossovers have been updated, updated RDO-194 tweeter, better 5 way binding posts, "Larry's Rings" installed for a much better seal of the speakers to the cabinet, mid and woofer baskets treated with Dynamat, cabinet treated with Black Hole 5 in the correct areas, magnets secured to avoid any shifting, 2 different style anti-diffraction pads included (round and oblong), 4 removable spikes on each, and original stock inter connect cable. I've owned these for 30+ years and they are well taken care of. Won't ship but will consider meeting within 2 hours of Williamsport, Pa. I might have the original boxes.
