PS Audio Power Plant P600 [2 Available]

PS Audio Power Plant P600 [2 Available - One in original manufactures box the other in a generic box.] Perfect operational & great cosmetic condition. [8/10 is for age only.] So, why do I have so many Power Plants and why I am selling them ... ... well, I recently spent just over two years living in Switzerland and took my Krell KCT and pair of FPB-300cx with me, thinking that transformers would be sufficient to power them (converting Switzerland's 220V to 120V). What I didn't initially realize was that the microprocessor in each of the amps checks the power-line frequency and if it is not the same as that of the country in which the amp was purchased it will not power up. Thus my USA 60Hz, KCT & FPBs would not work in Switzerland's 50Hz :-O Comparing the price that Krell was asking to change the amps from 120V/60Hz to 220V/50Hz and then back again when I returned to the USA, I decided it was cheaper to buy used Power Plants on AudiogoN instead. I was lucky enough to find three P1000s (one for each FPB-300cx and one spare) and two P600s (one for the KCT & one spare) before the second shipment of my belongings was packed up and sent to Switzerland. Now that I have returned to the USA I am keeping one of the P1000s for my front end but I no longer need the other Power Plants.
