The Acarian Systems Black Orpheus Bi-wire speaker cables are rare and beautiful sounding reference level cables. Gold plated spades on all connection ends. These cables are used by many audio pundits as their reference cable. Bob Reina of Stereophile uses a pair as his reference cable.
These can be used in a single wire configuration easliy by combining the spades at the speaker end. I have been running them single wired for the last two years. They can be used bi-wire or single wire.
Detailed, extended top to bottom and transparent. I've used these as my reference speaker cables for the last five years. I didn't think their performance could be surpassed until I purchased my MIT HD 38 speaker interfaces which are nearly ten times the price! Yes, the MIT's are better but the Black Orpheus's are not far behind.
Rated 7 of 10 for age only. Speaker cables are in good condition and work perfectly.
