Panels ship primed and can be painted any color with any water based paint The reason I tried these is I had read good things about fractal diffusers but wooden ones are very heavy and hard to hang (I have built several). These were a snap to put into position and the effects could be heard immediately. Instruments were immediately clearer and more separated plus the soundstage became more wrap-around.
