Diffusion
If you are working on treating your acoustically sensitive space and neglecting to incorporate diffusion you are missing one of the three legs of acoustic treatments: Absortion, Reflection and Diffusion. Most only treat their spaces with absorbers and leave reflective surfaces (walls). In today's world of home studios and listening rooms diffusion is vital as it can make a claustrophobic space seem larger. In large spaces diffusion prevents slapback reflections off of walls and provides a more acoustically appealing linear reverberation decay.

These panels hang flush on the wall using only a standard 5lb. picture hanging hook.

These panels are manufactured out of high density polystyrene. This makes the panels a good balance of cost, durability, reflectivity and weight. All parts of the manufacture of this product are done in the United States of America. MADE IN THE USA!!!

Panels ship primed and can be painted any color with any water based paint

The reason I tried these is I had read good things about fractal diffusers but wooden ones are very heavy and hard to hang (I have built several). These were a snap to put into position and the effects could be heard immediately. Instruments were immediately clearer and more separated plus the soundstage became more wrap-around. I had two audiophile friends over and they were immediately impressed [One of them has now also purchased 6 panels]--tomhoe11
