Fully balanced tube preamp. This preamp is quiet, no tube hiss/noise. The price is firm. Faceplate of the preamp is flawless condition. Top cover and sides have some minor scratches, visible in bright light only. Preamp will come with NOS tubes purchased from Vintage Tube Services, original cost of $250 (two NOS RCA 12AX7s, two Siemens-relabeled 6DJ8s). NOS tubes have about 400 hours on them. I do not have the stock tubes. Preamp comes with original packaging, remote control, and manual. Will be double boxed and shipped by USPS. Buyer pays shipping and 3% paypal fee. Please send the money as personal transaction from your bank account through paypal if you want to order the paypal fee. Echeck through paypal or bankcheck is also fine. I'm the second owner and had them for about three weeks. It sounds stellar with my system connecting to PMC AML1. But I've had a change of heart and selling all my gears and going with all integrated for space reason. Look for my other classified for the PMC AML1. Google for many stellar review of this preamp. Michael Fremer wrote in Stereophile "one of the best-balanced sounds of any audio component I've come across at any price". Wes Philips compared the Calypso signature to Calypso and wrote in Stereophile "I did have the Signature model to compare with the Calypso, and I still had no complaints about the sound of the standard version... On the other hand, for $2000 less, the standard Saturn Calypso is still one heck of a great preamp". Refer to 10audio review or countless others, if you happen to take Stereophile reviews with a grain of salt.
