McIntosh MC30 Tube Amplifier Pair

For sale is a pair of MC-30s. They are in fair condition, but they are a matched pair. Over the course of the time Mcintosh MC-30s were made, there were around 10 different revisions to the circuitry, so it is rare to find a pair with exactly the same circuit design and parts inside. The serial numbers are not sequential, but since these were mostly sold individually, they are about as close as can be expected.

Now the issues:
Both amplifiers have surface rust and paint issues. One amplifier has a ding in one of the transformers. It could be repaired at the time you had the transformers repainted if that's what you chose to do. Both bottom covers are also rusty and one of them is worse than the other. One amplifier is missing a capacitor that fell out, I will try to include it if I can find it. However, in order to use these amplifiers, you'll want to check and replace (if needed) all of the capacitors. Due to this fact, there is no assurance that these will work out of the box, I have not plugged them in and would not unless they are restored both visually and electronically. You'll also need tubes.

I've done my best to make sure to address all issues with these amplifiers and so there will be no returns, refunds (partial or full). This is an as-is sale and the price reflects that fact. This is a rare chance to get a very restorable pair of MC-30s with relatively close serial numbers for half the price of what could be paid for a mint pair. For tubes, I recommend the EH 6L6GC and NOS 12ax7s, 12au7s and 17bh7s of your choice.
