"Best remembered for "The Syncopated Clock" and the holiday classic "Sleigh Ride," Leroy Anderson was one of America's most popular composers of light, melodic orchestral music. A talented conductor and arranger to boot, he had a particular knack for creating humorous sound effects with standard orchestral instruments and percussion." - AMG.

Absolutely stunning! This is definitely one of the best Mercury Living Presence recordings I have ever heard. The instruments sound 'alive' and right in front of you. Bass is deep, tight and has weight and power. Mids are lush and highly detailed and the treble is transparent and delicate. This LP has so much power, punch and detail that it makes Telarcs and most other 'Audiophile' labels sound dead and compressed. Just a truely magnificent pressing!
Surface noise is almost nill - mostly faint 'ticks' that are hardly noticeable and are very few and random.
Each record is washed on a VPI cleaning machine using a proprietary 3-5 agent process which is determined by the needs of the individual record. Each record is then listened to 100% to insure that the posted description is exactly what you can expect to get!
