Ranked among my top 10 of amps I've owned to date. The Aragon 4004 MKII is an amazing piece of gear.
I'll simply state that the 4004 MKII is the definition of a quality amplifier. Capable of driving power hungry speakers and doing so with excellent performance. I've yet to read anything negative about it, and plenty has been written.
This unit is NOT without it's share of minor beauty marks but those subtle flaws do not detract from it's performance capability nor is it beat to death. Perfectionist may want to look elsewhere. Those who can live with a nick or scratch here and there will be rewarded with one killer amplifier that will deliver quality sounds throughout it's usable power range.
