See my other ad for the matching Audia Flight 50 Class A Amplifier.
The Audia Flight Pre has several very special virtues:
(1) Extremely low output impedance (12 Ohm), so it will sound good with a variety of power amps and cables without being plagued by the impedance mis-match.
(2) Constant impedance volume control. Have you experienced some preamps that sound good only at high volume and some others sound good only at low volume? The Audia pre sounds the same at all volume levels, and precisely track the volume at 0.5dB step in a 100dB range.
(3) Fully-balanced, discrete, high-current, Class A output stage.
(4) 3 toroid transformers and 52,800 uF filtering capacitors (most integrated amps don't have this much!) shielded in a sub-chassis.
The sound is extremely transparent but musically involving, in my system it bettered a Marantz SC-7S2, which sounds too HiFi-ish. If you've climbed the ladder in the modern audio world you know what I mean.
Preamp and solid aluminum remote are both in flawless condition, you won't be disappointed.
