Audible Illusions Modulus L-1 Preamplifier

The Audible Illusions Modulus L1 is a tube line stage preamplifier featuring seven high level inputs, two preamp and one tape output, high quality discrete Class A headphone amplifier, left & right chnl level, master rotary volume control and outboard power supply.

The L-1 is the line stage (sans phono stage) version of the M-3 series design, same basic circuit, however I greatly prefer the rotary volume control of the L-1 compared to the M-3 stepped attenuators providing much greater lower level listening precision and overall volume level accuracy.

Musical warmth, tonal accuracy, dimensionality, low frequency extension and control are the hallmarks of the Audible Illusions design. This tube preamplifier is the perfect solution for relaxing all digital sources delivering zero listening fatigue. The on-board headphone amplifier will greatly improve the overall musicality of internet music streaming.

Unit was purchased new in 1998, has low mileage less than 500 hours, new 6922 tubes, kept as a back-up preamp stored and remains in exceptional condition. No major scratches, nicks or dings, all faceplate lettering perfectly intact. Feel free to review my feedback for validation.
