The Audio Power Industries Power Enhancer 1 is a parallel filter. The effect of the PE 1 is another five to six db of noise reduction above 30 Hz. It also has a built in AC volt meter for monitoring your power line voltage. It is designed for systems with high current power amps and/or very noisy AC power. The Power Enhancer provides additional parallel filtering and increased power line damping. It can be plugged into a vacant amp outlet on a Power Wedge, or into a wall outlet next to the Power Wedge. Please check out the Power Wedge 1 (1500 watts) and Power Wedge V(1800 watts) that I am also selling. This unit is meant to work with and compliment either of them.
