Audio Refinement Multi 2 - competes w/ $4000 amplifiers

YBA is France's best known manufacturer of high end audio electronics and has earned an enviable reputation among those fortunate enough to have spent any time enjoying their products. That performance has always come at a steep price however, so YBA created Audio Refinement, a line of more affordable electronics that shares the same design philosophy and, not surprisingly, most of the performance of its overachieving siblings.

The Multi 2 amplifier delivers great control and punch (125 wpc into 8 ohms, 200 wpc into 4) without sacrificing delicacy, refinement or musical articulation. Constructed with non-ferrous chassis materials, extensive vibration control, low thermal operating range and high current MOSFET output devices, the Multi 2 offers the two-channel music lover a listening experience normally associated with far more expensive amplifiers.

The entire chassis is machined to perfection from thick, non-ferrous metal. All capacitors used are custom made to YBA's specifications and are extremely high quality. The output terminals, AC socket, internal wires, external AC cord and fuses are all origial YBA parts. The attached isolation feet are created from non-magnetic metal with an additional damping material. Even the massive toroidal power transformer is custom designed for YBA and uses a proprietary damping technique to isolate its vibrations from the other circuitry.

This particular Multi 2 was used sparingly by us for demonstration purposes before returning it to its box and our inventory room a couple years ago. We just unpacked it, snapped a few photos, gave it a listen and discovered it is even more enjoyable than we remember. And realize, with only 100 hours of total use, this amp has only begun to reveal its true potential. It is in new condition and you will be proud to be the original owner of this special amplifier.
