Audio Research DAC8 silver

This DAC8 was purchased new from an authorized ARC dealer. The DAC8 is in finest digital product I’ve have ever heard. The only reason I’m selling the DAC is I now have less shelving space and so am buying a one-box amp/DAC combination component.
The DAC works perfectly and has been in a pet and smoke free environment. I can only find one small cosmetic flaw. Many sellers would likely not even point out this small blemish. Check out the photo where the arrow points to the dot flaw. . I never even noticed it until I just photographed the DAC front. This dot is no big deal, however it can be seen, hence it is photographed. I make accurate representations of what I’m selling so I am pointing this flaw out. I have always faulted towards the over conservative side in describing condition (see my feed back) so I rated the DAC at 7/10 due to the dot. The DAC8 is really hot ARC product and seldom comes up available used, so it will likely sell fast.
