Ayon CD-2 volume control and dac

Ayon CD-2 CD player with digital-in and volume control, in great working and cosmetic condition for your consideration.

Has XLR and RCA out (toggle to select) and S/PDIF out. The unit also accepts S/PDIF in so you may use the unit as a D/A converter. CD-2 also has volume control built-in, so you may connect the unit to the amp directly. The 6H30 tubes still test strong.

One small caveat (which is common) is the magnetic clamp system is quite sensitive. Like many reference quality top loaders, the CD-2 doesn't like fairly scratched CDs neither. There is a harline scratch on the acrylic disc cover. The selling price relfects such. Listening to CD-2 is a pure joy.

Original factory triple box, original packing material, original manual and original remote control are in great condition. All included! No power cord is included however. If you want some big time power cord that matches this well, let me know, and I could list it in Audiogon for sale (Verrastar Kingpin is awesome for this CD player).
