B&W Flagship Speakers ct8lr, ct8cc, ct8sw no compromise home theater

The Custom Theater 8 range is B&W's flagship theater line, surpassing even the 800 Diamonds in performance and price. The CT8 fronts and center are simply amazing speakers: think of an 800D but with an active crossover directly feeding a 15 inch subwoofer. Dynamic range is simply incredible: I owned a pair of 800D before these and these are a definite upgrade. You can calibrate the crossovers individually to correct for room positioning. The tweeter/midrange are isolated within an aluminum nautilus enclosure that is free floating within the cabinet and can be rotated in all four directions for cabinet positioning flexibility. This is a no compromise home theater solution.The cabinet, drivers and crossover are identical between with the fronts and center for perfect voice matching on these full range speakers. Their incredible customization features allow architectural installations within cabinets if desired but I really like the way the look so I kept them in the open. I am the original owner. All gear was purchased from an authorized dealer by me in February 2010 and will have the remainder of the 5 year warranty. I am dabbling with the idea of going to a pretty extreme 2 channel system with a smaller theater setup. I am in no rush to sell and can wait for someone who would be happy to save 25k from buying new and still get almost new gear with 4 years of warranty remaining. The system consists of two B&W CT8LR fronts, two CT8SW subwoofers, three CT8 active crossovers, and a CT8CC center.
