Offered for sale is my Balanced Audio Technologies VK P5. The P5 is an all tube, dual mono, well regarded industry standard Phono Preamplifier. This rare version of the VK P5 not only is equipped with the “Six Pak” upgrade but has also been upgraded with the factory installed output stage from the top of the line P10SE. This upgrade includes new electronics and new tubes, the great sounding Sovtec 6C45. The 10SE output stage not only provides stunning sonic improvements but also increases gain by 3 to 4 db allowing this phono stage to be comfortable with low output, high end MC cartridges. This unit is in pristine condition with no blemishes, scars, dents, etc. Rating is due to age only. Unit is now out of warranty. It comes with original packaging, manual, spare 6922 tube plus $500.00 in extras consisting of: 2 - NOS RCA 6SN7 and 4 - NOS Ediswan 2492, in addition to stock tubes, and 2 BAT adaptors (XLR to RCA) Buyer, if using Paypal, please add appropriate fees.
