Bel Canto mk II Ref 1000M

Basically brand new Bel Canto 1000m with successive serial numbers. I received them in early january and have put about 60 hours on them, nowhere near broken in, as, if you do not know, these things require at least a few hundred hours to really shine. My previous Bel Canto 500m's sounded amazing after about 400 hours. These give you that amazing 500m midrange but bass depth in spades. Break in time is a bit of a pain I know, but certainly worth the wait as when these babies start singing, audio life is very good. They are absolute monsters when you are in the mood to crank it up. However, for easy listening they are wonderfully organic and detail retrieval can be down right euphoric. In vinyl applications I find them just stunning; deep and warm...these things can switch gears in an instant. No real reason for sale, had my 500m for a few yars, these for a few months, thought I would try something else. There is a reason these are perennial stereophile class A rated, they are magnificent. They retail for well over 6k here, so this is a very good deal as you are basically getting new units. Added to that, they barely sip from the electricity well and can be left on all the time, all that with 1000 watt capability.
