Benchmark DAC1 - Excellent Condition

I have a Benchmark DAC1 in excellent condition for sale. The unit has been sitting in my closet since my divorce and it needs a new home. The DAC has been in a non-smoking, pet free environment. The excellence and purity of sound this DAC delivers is legendary and there are so many reviews available I won't bother posting them. The unit comes with original box, manuals and connectors. It is the non-USB version and is about 2 yrs old with very light use. I hate to part with it, but it's time I let it go so that someone else can enjoy this wonderful sounding piece. The DAC1 is a reference-quality, 2-channel 192-kHz 24-bit audio digital-to-analog converter featuring Benchmark’s UltraLock™ technology. Two ¼” headphone jacks are driven with Benchmark’s new HPA2™ headphone amplifier. The HPA2™ is a high-current amplifier that is capable of driving a wide variety of headphone loads while achieving less than 0.0003% distortion under load. The gain control sets the output level of the headphone jacks. It can also be used to control the output level of the balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog outputs. A rear-panel switch selects Variable or Calibrated output levels.
