Blue Circle Audio FLT iaB (Fon Lo Thingee in a box) Phonostage

The name pretty much says it all. The FLT iaB is a "Fon Lo Thingee in a Box"

There are lot of happy owners of the Fon Lo Thingee out there. Something like 5% of them have had slight RFI/EMI issues. Most of them have found that using aluminium foil wrapped around their Fon Lo Thingee and/or tone arm cable resolved the problem. The few remaining owners, especially the Fon Lo Thingee MC owners, needed to have their Fon Lo Thingee inside a metal box to eliminate the noise.

Blue Circle had made a couple of custom FLTs in boxes and decided to offer it as a production item both for people who feel they might be prone to RFI/EMI or just folks who like the look of a box vs the pipe.

With a box like this there is a lot of room after we install the FLT board . Gilbert hates to waste anything, including space, so the FLTiaB has twice the capacitance of the Biggie Pipe power supply inside the box. It still has room for the equivalent of two SP Cap Packs for future upgrade. Of course, you can choose to fill up the chassis right off the bat if you want.

The FLT iaB does not come with a power supply. It is designed to mate with all the Thingee Pipe power supplies.
