For sale one Boulder 500 Stereo Power Amplifier, with Capacitors on the main board just upgraded (a boulder routine).
It is in Great working condition, sounding amazing with great resolution and Boulder Clarity. No need for a preamp, you could directly connect it to your CD Player or Tuner because it has independent volume controls for each channel.
I bought 2 of the Boulder 500s from a record label owner on the east coast. There was a little use over years in his office. I got the capacitors replaced/upgraded with the best available Nichicon high temperature (135C) capacitors.
They sound great after that. I am selling one, because they are too much power for my 96dB speakers when used in mono configuration. One in stereo is plenty of power for my system.
Current condition is great. Cosmetically looks great besides some handling wear. It is a Boulder after all.
