BRYSTON TF-1 Moving Coil Transformer

Very rare hard to find TF-1 Step up transformer made by Bryston for Moving Coil cartridges. Rarely seen on sale. Bryston TF-1 is an extremely high quality low distortion audio transformer specifically engineered for moving coil phono cartridges, using the finest materials and most advanced winding techniques for the widest bandwidth and highest consistency. The TF-1 comes as standard set for high gain (22.5 dB), for use with low impedance moving coil cartridges in the range of 5-35 ohms. It may be changed to lower gain (16,5 dB) for use with cartridges in the range 40-250 ohms. Frequency response : 5Hz to 30kHz less than +/- 0.5 dB 1Hz to 50 kHz less than +/- 3 dB Input sensitivity : 350uV (0.35mV) Distortion : less than 0.005% IM or THD, any frequency or combination of frequencies from 20Hz to 20kHz at rated output Rated noise: -80 dB referred to an input of 0.35 mV RMS @ 1kHz Gain: 16.5 dB or 22.5 dB (internally changeable) .
