Purchased a G5 and a G7 new NOS and played both a few minutes just to confirm they operate 100%. There's a long Glanz thread in the forums (see "Glanz moving magnet cartridges") that rates both the G5 and G7 as two of the very best MM cartridges available. I purchased them both a while back but I'm too content with my MC cartridges to use them.

This ad is for the G5, the G7 is now sold.

Glanz G5 -- integrated headshell (requires tonearm collet mount)
Per Cartridge DB: Weight 19 grams; 3mV output; 1.25 - 1.75 tracking force; elliptical stylus
*CORRECTION* -- These cartridges are actually Moving-flux designs. Their output levels require an MM phono stage but their design is Moving-flux. Here's the description from their brochure posted on Vinyl Engine. Be sure to also read the forum thread if you're interested:
"The high-performance MF (moving flux) cartridge is newly developed by Mitachi Corporation engineers who sought to make the most of all the merits of MM and MC cartridges created to date and at the same time to overcome the demerits of these conventional systems.

The creation of the newly developed stylus vibration system and power-generating mechanism used in the MF cartridges is due entirely to the painstaking research and development which we at Mitachi Corporation have carried out over many long years as a specialist manufacturer of cartridges. The result is the MF type of cartridge, a completely new system.

The specifications of the cartridges, particularly the frequency response and the channel separation, are outstanding, and the high-level functions of the new MF system give full justice to the re-creation of sound from all kinds of records."
