For sale: Miyajima Waza cartridge. This cartridge was rebuilt to new specification by Miyajima in December 2016. I put well less than 100 hours on the cart before boxing it up. So, this is essentially a like-new cartridge. I don't have a receipt for the rebuild but I have my email records with the US distributor for Miyajima and the rebuild can be confirmed with him.
This cartridge produces a wonderfully enveloping sound with some of the most realistic bass I have every heard. There is a reason why folks go nuts for Miyajima. One word of warning, however: This is a LOW compliance cartridge that needs a high effective mass tonearm. Think Abis SA-1.2, Dynavector, and certain Fidelity Research and SAEC tonearms, something with a effective mass >20 grams. You can get fabulous sound with lighter arms but tracking will suffer on some records.
